“Rory looks a little too comfortable. After almost fumbling a ring earlier this year, you’d think he’d would hold onto those things a little bit tighter.”

Let’s take a look at some other reactions on X:
“Good to see @JDayGolf in some proper-fitting threads at last!,” one fan said.

“Clark being there over Bryson I can’t get behind. I’ll throw Colin there too…,” one fan said.
Rory McIlroy is playing in his second Olympic Games after representing Ireland at Tokyo 2020. There, McIlroy finished T4 after losing the bronze medal playoff to C.T. Pan.
Wyndham Clark, meanwhile, will be making his Olympic debut at Paris 2024. Clark has represented the United States in two major events, the 2014 Walker Cup and the 2023 Ryder Cup.
How Rory McIlroy and Wyndham Clark are heading to Paris 2024
Rory McIlroy qualified for the Olympics as Ireland’s top-ranked player. McIlroy had the opportunity to represent Great Britain but ultimately chose to play for the Irish team.
“I’m going to play golf for the country or the nation that I’ve always played for through my junior and amateur days and now into the professional game. And that’s Ireland,” McIlroy said about his decision (via National Club Golfer).
McIlroy enters Le Golf National on the back of a season in which he has won twice on the PGA Tour and once on the DP World Tour. He also has five other top-10 finishes on the American circuit and one more in Europe.
Among his most important results of the season was a runner-up finish at the US Open, just one stroke behind Bryson DeChambeau.
Many fans believe DeChambeau should have made the 2024 Olympic team thanks to his three top-10 finishes in major championships during the season (including one victory). However, the LIV Golf star finished fifth on the qualifying list behind Wyndham Clark.
Clark has played 17 PGA Tour events this season. His best results include one win, two runner-up finishes and three other top-10s. However, he has been cut in three majors this season.
