“There’s like a different creative side to it” – Nelly Korda divided about the conditions at AIG Women’s Open

Nelly Korda is currently playing at the 2024 AIG Women’s Open, the last Major on the women’s circuit.

The tournament is underway at the Old Course and will continue from August 22 to 25. As Korda played the opening round, she shared her understanding of the conditions of the course.

Korda said it was fun playing in these conditions despite it being a bit windy out there. She added that there was an overall creative side to the playing conditions, which she enjoyed.

“It was windy, but especially at kind of the start to the middle. But kind of the last three, four holes it died down and was able to be a little bit more aggressive. But overall I think our group had a very good day…I think overall we had a really good day, and hopefully the crowd enjoyed it as much as we did,” Nelly Korda said ( via ASAP Sports).

She added (via LPGA on X):

“There’s something fun about playing in these conditions, too. Not that I would do it every single time. But it’s just there’s like a different creative side to it, which I enjoy.”
