For the third time since being reinstated, and the fourth time overall, there’s a women’s golf competition in the Olympics.
The field of 60 women is in Paris to take on Le Golf National, host of the 2018 Ryder Cup. The American contingent consists of reigning gold medal winner and World No. 1 Nelly Korda as well as Lilia Vu (No. 2) and Rose Zhang (No. 9).
The competition starts Wednesday, Aug. 7, and medals will be awarded on Saturday, Aug. 10, after the 72-hole, stroke-play tournament.
Le Golf National hosted the men last week, where World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler took gold.
