“God dammit, you fat f**k”: NBA Legend Charles Barkley unleashes expletive bomb on himself at the American Century Championship

Former NBA basketball player Charles Barkley had a hot mic moment during the 2024 American Century Championship.

The 35th edition of the celebrity golf tournament concluded on Sunday, July 14 at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada.

At one of the holes in the third and final round of the American Century Championship, Barkley hit a shot from the green that didn’t land very far. After the dismal shot, he unleashed an expletive bomb on himself:

Charles Barkley had the worst round on the final day of the tournament. He scored 17 over 91 and gained -4 points. Barkley scored one birdie, six bogeys and seven double bogeys or worse.

The tournament was played with modified scoring system as follows:

10 points for an albatross (3 under par)
8 points for a hole-in-one
6 points for an eagle (2 under par)
3 points for a birdie (1 under par)
1 point for a par (even)
0 points for a bogey (1 over par)
-2 points for a double bogey or worse (2 over par or more)
Barkley scored 12-over 84 in the first round with two birdies, four bogeys, and five double bogeys or worse. He gained three points. In the second round, Barkley scored 15-over 87 with one birdie, eight bogeys, and four double bogeys or worse.

The NBA Legend finished at the 58th position, one of his best performances at the tournament. He is known for finishing at the bottom of the leaderboard and is known for being a poor golfer with a notably bad swing.

Tennis Player Mardy Fish won the 2024 American Century Championship with 83 points. Fish also won the tournament in 2020 and been a runner-up thrice in the years, 2016, 2017, and 2023. Ice Hockey player Joe Pavelski was four shots behind and finished second. Swedish-American golfer Annika Sörenstam finished third with 68 points.

Taylor Swift’s boyfriend and NFL star Travis Kelce finished 63rd while his brother Jason Kelce finished 87th. Aaron Rodgers finished 15th with 46 points at American Century Championship.
