Lydia Ko’s triumph at the 2024 AIG Women’s Open marked her 32nd professional victory, including 21 wins on the LPGA Tour and a third major championship title. Notably, this victory came after a series of 12 previous British Open appearances with only two top-10 finishes, showcasing her recent resurgence.

Lydia Ko’s victory at the 2024 AIG Women’s Open further solidified her successful season. She began the year with a win at the Tournament of Champions and followed up with several strong performances. After several strong performances, she earned her way into the LPGA Hall of Fame by winning the gold medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The 27-year-old is now halfway towards achieving the highly coveted Golden Slam. In addition to her victory at the 2024 AIG Women’s Open, she also won the 2015 Evian Championship and the 2016 Chevron Championship. She still needs to win the Women’s PGA Championship and the US Women’s Open to complete the feat.
