Jon Rahm is tied on the top of the leaderboard with Xander Schauffele after three rounds at the 2024 Olympics Golf. The fourth round will be played on Sunday, August 4 at Le Golf National in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France.
After scoring 67 and 66 in the first two rounds, Rahm carded 66 in the third round. He scored seven birdies against two bogeys in the round. The LIV Golfer was asked about the crowd support in the Olympics compared to other majors, to which he responded (via ASAP Sports):
“We are very close to Spain compared to most of the other majors. But yeah, you know, like obviously every country, Spain, they are very passionate people towards their country.”

Rahm also expressed his surprise at the number of Spaniards who have come to the Paris Olympics to support their countrymen.
“There’s a lot bigger Spanish presence than I expected. They usually obviously wear the flag colours which are very visible from any distance and they tend to be about the loudest usually on the course as well, no matter where I am, and it really helps out,” he said.
He underlined the reception the players received on the first tee has been fantastic. There is a grandstand behind the first tee and players receive big cheers from it.
Jon Rahm will look to win the gold medal for his country on Sunday. He is paired with Xander Scahuffele and Tommy Fleetwood for the final round. The trio will tee off at 6:39 AM ET.
