The PGA Tour returns this week with the 2024 Wyndham Championship in North Carolina, and in the Olympic spirit we’re putting our long-shot money on a former gold medalist. Here’s our long-shot pick, the Wyndham Championship odds, betting favorites and everything else you need to know.

Wyndham Championship odds: Long-shot bet
For this week’s event in North Carolina, we’re selecting Justin Rose as our long-shot pick at +5500 odds-to-win.

Rose is a former major champion, who also won the 2016 gold medal at the Olympics in Rio. But at 44, Rose is far from a non-competitive pro at the end of his career.

The 11-time Tour winner picked up a victory last season at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. This season, he has only two top 10s, but his best result of the year came in his most recent start: a runner-up finish at the Open Championship.

If you bet $10 on Rose to win and he does it, you’ll earn $550. For insurance, consider placing additional small bets on Rose to finish top 10 and top 20.

Looking for more long-shot bets for the Wyndham Championship? This week’s honorable mentions are Kurt Kitayama (+5500) and Victor Perez (+6600).

Wyndham Championship odds: The favorites
Sungjae Im leads the betting favorites at the Wyndham Championship with odds-to-wins starting at +1400. Billy Horschel, who contended at the Open Championship, is tied second at +2500 odds-to-win, along with former Open champion Shane Lowry and Si Woo Kim.
