The same players at the top of the leaderboard after Friday are still at the top as we head to Sunday. But their lead on the rest of the field has halved after Saturday.
Akshay Bhatia and Aaron Rai matched each other with 68s on Saturday during a delayed third round at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. They’re both at 17 under with one round to go. The entire week, the pair has combined for just one bogey, Rai’s on the 15th hole Saturday.
For Sunday’s final, Bhatia and Rai will be paired together for the second day in a row. This time by themselves in the final pairing going off at 2:00 p.m. ET. But they’ll be chased closely by Cam Davis, the 2021 winner in Detroit, and Cameron Young, who’s still seeking his first PGA Tour title.
You can watch the third round of the Rocket Mortgage Classic on ESPN+ with exclusive early action and featured group coverage all day. Golf Channel will broadcast the early coverage starting at 1 p.m. ET, followed by CBS at 3 p.m. ET. Peacock will offer a simulcast of Golf Channel’s coverage and Paramount+ will stream CBS’ coverage.
